Bringin Expands Crypto Banking to European Enterprises
Bringin has launched an invite-only beta offering euro business accounts tailored for Bitcoin and stablecoin operations across 30 European nations. The platform enables companies to hold, accept, and pay in Bitcoin and stablecoins while routing SEPA payments through a dedicated virtual IBAN registered in the company's own name.
According to a press release shared with Bitcoin Magazine, the initiative addresses persistent barriers such as bank account restrictions, blocked transfers, and the Travel Rule compliance burden that complicate Bitcoin adoption in Europe. These friction points have historically limited corporate participation in crypto ecosystems.
The solution sits atop MiCA-authorized infrastructure provided by Lightspark Payments Europe AS, positioning Bringin as a bridge between decentralized finance and traditional banking rails. Early testing involves 15 participating businesses, including mining-rig operators and Bitcoin conference organizers, with additional global payment capabilities planned.
Founder and CEO Prashanth Chandrashekar emphasized the practical utility: "We proved the concept with consumers first. Now companies can use Bringin to get paid, hold value, and move money globally, with accounts designed around self-custody and seamless payment experiences." The current pilot focuses on cross-border payments and instant Bitcoin-to-euro conversions, demonstrating the viability of the model before wider rollout.
