RealFi Goes Live on Cardano
RealFi, a protocol focused on bringing real-world assets (RWAs) onto the blockchain, is now live on the Cardano mainnet. The launch follows a successful testnet period where more than 3,000 verified wallets participated, according to the team. This marks a significant step for the project, moving it from testing into live operation.
At launch, RealFi has established integrations with three key Cardano decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms: Lace, Liqwid, and SundaeSwap. These integrations will allow users to access and utilize RealFi’s RWA stablecoins within existing Cardano DeFi ecosystems.
The project has also announced plans for future expansion, specifically targeting the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility. The team anticipates this EVM expansion to be completed by October 1, 2026. This move aims to broaden RealFi’s reach and interoperability within the wider blockchain landscape.
The launch of RealFi on Cardano represents growing interest in the tokenization of real-world assets. RWAs are seen as a potential driver of mainstream adoption for blockchain technology, bridging the gap between traditional finance and decentralized systems.
